WCH and NCW/US Officially Merge to Advance Women’s Cause





Los Angeles, CA July 14, 2015 – We Care for Humanity and the National Council of Women of the United States recently merged to put women’s causes in their quest to serve people. Both organizations have a lot common fronts, projects and opportunities to improve the lives of women in particular.

In recognizing her stature as a global humanitarian and an international relations practitioner, HRH Princess Dato ’Seri Maria Amor DK1,D.D., Founder and President of WCH and the Creator and Chair of G.O.D. Awards, was officially appointed by Mary E. Singletary, the President of the NCW/US on July 13, 2015 as their Vice President for International Affairs and Goodwill Ambassador.
“We are absolutely confident to have Princess Maria Amor on board as our VP for International Affairs and Goodwill Ambassador.,” said Mary Singletary. “She will definitely add a higher level of excellence in our goals as champion for the welfare of women in the United States through her vast experiences in international relations,” added Pres. Singletary.
As VP for International Affairs, Princess Maria will carry on her official international and foreign trips the mandate of NCW/US, and that is, to advance the women's causes in the national and global stages, where Princess Maria is a recognized and multi-awarded humanitarian icon.
As part of an initiative by the NCW/US, being the concurrent Goodwill Ambassador, Princess Maria will have the noble opportunity to represent NCW/US in national and international fora, gatherings and conferences to advance women’s rights and causes.
The NCW/US is an accredited United Nations Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and is headquartered at the United Nations in New York City.
Always responsible to accept various kinds of high-level tasks and opportunities to serve people, HRH Princess Dato’Seri Maria Amor said, “I am truly humbled and deeply honored to be appointed as Vice President for International Affairs and Goodwill Ambassador of NCW/US, I humbly accept and will definitely put my best effort to advance the causes of women under the auspices of NCWUS.”
In a royal reciprocal gesture, Princess Maria Amor appointed Mary E. Singletary, as the Vice President of WCH for Women’s Sector. Ms. Singletary will have the great opportunities to promote programs, programs and ideas concerning women under the banner of We Care for Humanity, in partnership with the NCW/US, effective immediately.
“I am equally very excited and eager to start working hand in hand with WCH for this new opportunity to work on women’s projects with international and global perspective to consider,” said Ms. Singletary. “I thank Princess Maria Amor for this wonderful partnership,” she added. WCH and NCWUS will officially start all steps to take for this merging of two giants in humanitarian and women’s causes. Currently, Ms. Singletary is the President of NCW/US, the oldest non-sectarian women's organization in the United States. Mary Singletary was elected President of the National Council in June 2003.
Ms. Singletary has served proudly as a leader of health initiatives for women and children and the advancement of business and professional women locally, nationally and internationally.
In addition, Ms. Singletary has been invited as one of the forum speakers of the forthcoming 3rd G.O.D. Awards to be held on August 5, 2015 at the UN Millennium Hotel, New York, NY.
